Re-using code is one of the biggest benefits of IEC61131 programming. Follow these simple steps to import a User Function Block into an ACR IEC project, or download and watch this video from more details.
Select either a LDD, ST or CFC file. The function block file will now be available for editing in the IEC PLC Browser. Double Click the file to edit, and Syntax Check complete the code.
After the file has been checked, it will be available for use within a Program or another user FB. Use either Insert Function Block or drag and drop from the IEC PLC Catalog/Project folder. If the FB is not shown in the Catalog, right click and select Refresh.
