This error occurs when installing a previous version of ACR-View6. The IEC license expires every January. After that time, a newer version of ACR-View6 is released with a new license. It is available as a free download on our website.
Jan 2018 update:
The ACR 9600 series of controllers are a legacy product and enabled users to program using both AcroBasic and IEC 61131-3 code. Users of the ACR9600 family who utilize the IEC 61131-3 should still upgrade to 6.4.2 to benefit from the various bug fixes; however, the IEC 61131-3 editor capabilities of ACRView are only available on Windows 7.
Users who want to use Windows 10 and IEC 61131-3 should consider migrating to the PAC (Parker Automation Controller), see http://parker.com/emn/pac
Note: ACR9600 controllers can use ACRView 9000 projects (or AcroBasic-only projects) and in these cases, use Windows 8 and 10 if desired.
