How to set Ethernet/IP comms with AB plc

With version 1.3.0 of the PAC, scanner/adapter functionality is now available.

For setting the PAC to communicate to AB CompactLogix or ControlLogix plc via Ethernet/IP, see page 160 of PAC user manual, rev B:

Previously 1.2.1 firmware could only produce (write) tags to the AB plcs but cannot consume (read) tags.

No hardware changes necessary and units can be upgraded in the field via the flashback utility on the PAC product page.
