If the drive is enabled but the contactor is not closing with no faults present on the keypad, then you are likely missing two key inputs.
- Are B8 and B9 connected to 24VDC? B8 and B9 are Program Stop and Coast Stop respectively. They require 24Vdc, if they do not then the drive will enter the "Program Stop" or "Coast Stop" operation immediately as a safety measure, in the event of power loss or emergency switch is implemented into the system
- Are you running it in remote mode? If so, run the drive in local mode. If the drive runs fine in local mode try diagnosing the field bus communications or the control/status words being used.
- Verify minimum wiring connections as outlined in this FAQ: 590+ Starter Wiring Connections in a Default Template
If there are faults present on the drive follow this quick link to the 590+ on Parker.com and look for the manual under "Product Support" and lookup your fault code. It will give starter troubleshooting assistance to diagnose the problem or take a look at the sidebar for "How do I start troubleshooting a 590+?"
