If you get an Overvoltage fault after the drive is enabled (with no motion):
- Disconnect the motor from the drive, and give power back to the drive.
- Hit enable. Does the issue persist?
- If not, then there is an "open" in the armature circuit. verify there is no open in the armature circuit between the drive and motor using a voltmeter.
- If you get an over voltage fault during motion it could stem from a variety of issues. Consult the "Over Voltage" fault in the product manual; found in the 590+ on Parker.com under "Product Support". If you have gone through the starter documentation for troubleshooting the fault code and the problem persists, then contact Parker Electromechanical Support.
