All bearing load values are based on standard L10 Bearing Life calculations. As such, all Compumotor servo motors are specified to operate at any speed up to their rated speed with the aforementioned bearing loads applied at the motor shaft. Actual L10 life depends on motor size and operating speed in addition to shaft loading.
While the above bearing load values are what Compumotor motors are specified as being easily able to handle, the L10 bearing life expectancy can also be calculated for applications where the axial and/or radial bearing load of 10 lbs is exceeded.
