When attempting to install Compax3 Servo Manager, the following error can occur:
Compax3 Servo Manager requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 in order to properly install and run. This is not included by default in many installations of Windows 10 and Windows 11. This article shows how to enable it as a Windows feature.
-
Click the Start button in the lower left-hand corner of the Desktop. Type Control Panel and click the Control Panel Desktop app that the search tool finds.
-
The Control Panel's view mode may be set for Categories when it opens. Set the view mode to Small icons and then click Programs and Features.
-
In the Programs and Features panel, click Turn Windows features on or off. You may be required to provide an administrator password in order to complete this step.
-
In the Windows Features dialog box, check .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0). When you check the box, it may be filled with a solid black square instead of a check mark, which is fine. Click OK.
For Win 11: -
You will be prompted to download files from Windows Update. Click Download files from Windows Update.
-
Once the updates have been successfully downloaded and installed, Windows will notify you.
-
It is recommended that you reboot your PC. Once it has rebooted, you can install Compax3 Servo Manager normally.
