When installing WinTips from our website or from Sizing CD-ROM, the shortcut placed on the desktop and in the Start Menu does not have any properties. Running from this shortcut opens the software but the motor database isn't recognized. This is a problem with the Windows installer program that created the executable. There should be a way to designate the working directory to look for files the program uses such as the database.
Workaround: Running it from or creating a shortcut from the tips.exe (default: C:\Program Files\Parker\WinTips\tips.exe) works.
