Enabling and Disabling User Buttons on the RP-240

Print Friendly and PDF
Certain RP-240 user keys can be enabled or disabled via software commands when using certain Compumotor products. . When using a indexer or controller that uses Extended X-Language in conjunction with an RP240, the STOP button can be activated or de-activated by using the DSTP command. The PAUSE and CONTINUE buttons can also be enabled or disabled by using the DCNT command.

When using 6K language products, a user can disable or enable the STOP button on the front panel of the RP240 via the DSTP command.

Unfortunately, products using 6000 language have no software commands that allow the activation or de-activation of buttons on the RP240 front panel.
