The QM series step motors have the exact same electrical and physical specifications as the S and ZETA series step motors. The QM dimensions, current rating, torque rating, inductance, etc are identical to the S or ZETA motors.
The difference between the QM motor and the S or ZETA motors is the cabling and connector at the end of the cable. All QM motors come with a 10 foot cable, just like the S and ZETA motors. The S and ZETA motors come with a 7 or 9 pin connector at the end of the cable. If the QM motor is ordered alone, it will not have a connector a the end of the cable, just flying leads. If the QM motor is ordered as a package with the PDS(ex. PDS13-57-51), the motor will have a 5 pin connector at the end of the cable. If this packaged motor is a 57 or 83 frame motor, it will also be wired in parallel at the connector end. If the motor is a 106 frame motor, it will be wired in parallel at the motor end. The QM106 motors are changed from series to parallel via the back end bell of the motor.
