The 6000 products are set up with a BCD program select mode that allows you to select 199 different programs. Although this was the maximum number of programs selectable by design, a way around this has been found to allow more programs to be selected.
It is noted that you can only run 199 programs through the BCD inputs, and that any number higher than 199 sends you into program #200. By using this anomaly, you can run up to the maximum number of programs (for many products this is 400, see the MEMORY command for a list by product). You can do this by writing a set of IF statements which look for the particular input pattern you are interested in once you jump into the 200th program.
