I have a J0703-KMSN motor that I took out and changed the bearing. After re-installation, after I type drive1 to enable the drive from Gemini controller/driver, it powers up instantaneously but LED turns from red to green to red right away. Motor got a initial spin during the power on. TASXF says torque exceeded. Is there any alignment procedure I need to do during re-installation after I take the rotor out?
I tried switching the V/W phase, drive1 turns on the motor and motor was vibrating, I re-wire it correctly UVW, and it was working for a while, then it got back to the initial state.
What feedback device is on the motor, the part number that you have listed is missing some letters after 0703? What is the servo drive that is powering the J-motor? You could also send the motor back on an RMA to have the shop realign the feedback.
I found the disk is bad, can you sell me some encoders or disks? I can alignment.
No, we do not sell parts on our motors. You may contact your local Parker ATC distributor with the part number and serial number to setup a repair RMA. Our factory can replace the encoder and align the halls to the motor phases.
