I am currently working on an AC650V drive for a ski lift. As soon as I turn the drive on it comes up with an error that just says "trip". I have looked in the manual and the only information it gives is that this error indicates and unknown trip. If anyone has some information on what I might be able to check or test for, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Can you provide some more information about the drive and the circumstances surrounding the trip:
1.) What is the Cat or Model number of the drive?
2.) Can you clear the fault?
3.) What version of firmware is on the drive? This can be found 1 of 2 ways, one it will display on boot-up for approximately 8 seconds or by connecting to DSE Lite and performing a COMMAND > GET INFO.
Usually "Trip" Trips are indicative of a hardware defect. I would recommend reaching out to technical support at either 1-800-358-9070 or at email@example.com. They will be able to help specify the proper replacement for the 650V drive that you are using.
Hi, thank you for replying. We did some more testing and the source of the problem seems to be caused by an input that has gone bad. I appreciate the help!
