Our client has a problem in the slitter machine, this machine is designed using sectional drive, all using Parker Drive, consisting of Unwinder (30kW, AC Drive 690+, Rewinder (15kW, AC Drive 690+) and has 2 Spreader roll motor (@ 2,2kW, AC drive 690+). For information, from the four Drives the supply DC voltage is input from DC Drive Integrator +590 (2Q specifications, 165A), the DC supply to each drive is protected with Fuse, For Unwinder 100A, for Rewinder 50A, For Spreader roll @ 16A.
Chase A, The problem that arises, when the engine is running normally, suddenly breaks out some of the DC Protection fuse supply to the AC Drive at Rewind 50A (2 Pcs), on Spreaderroll Unwind & Rewind 16 A (4 Pcs). There is no alarm indication on the DC drive or AC Drives. We replace the broken fuse action, monitoring the dc integrator stable at 512Vdc (Machine stop), 504Vdc(Machine RUN at 800 MPM), Cleaning braking resistor, tightening connection, check Brake resistor Rew 18A,Unw 17.5 A. At one time after the broken event, similar problems reappear, some fuses break again for 50A fuse , 16A. What is the advice of the expert team in this problem?
Chase B, There is also the same chase with the slitter engine, in other machines the event of a breakdown of some DC protection fuse, but there is previously an alarm indication on the Parker OP display "Calibration fail" (at the machine running), for this chase the solution is we replace the 590+ drive with a new one, the engine is running well again .
