Compax3 driver won't enable in step/direction mode with ACR9000

Hi there,

Recently we try to enable the C3 driver with ACR9000, with step/direction instead of analog. I can't enable the C3 driver from ACR9000 with no fault in return. Attached are the connection in between ACR9000 and C3. I only able to enable the C3 drive with ACR9000 if I connect in analog & encoder connection. Anyone know how to solve?

I looked at your wiring, and it seems fine.  The Compax3's fault output is actually a "no fault" output, so it is high when there is no fault present.  This is done to allow a controller to assume a fault has occurred in the event the Compax3 has a total loss of function.  I think you might need to invert your fault input.  In your step/direction configuration in ACR View, are you using the preconfigured Compax3 drive option?  This one should come with the correct fault input configuration.
