Drive Compax 3S - Total distance traveled.

Hi,

We have a C3S075V4F11I32T30M21 drive energizing a ETH125 electro cylinder that performs a Y axis movement.

We use the C3 ServoManager 2 program for analysis, parameters check and troubleshooting.

In order to improve our lubricating performance we would like to know is there any register or variable from where we can check the cylinder´s total distance traveled since energized for example. So it is easier to anticipate the next intervention.

Thanks

Hello.  No, I do not believe there is.  This is something that would need to be done at your top-level motion controller.  If you are using a Compax3 with T30 or T40 options, you could write an extension to your program that saves total distance traveled in a retained register.
