The linked InteractX 4.1 Project will also open and run in InteractX 4.0.
In this simple project there are two screens and one VBA form and supporting VBA code to print the form. There are two print buttons with VBA to print to the Windows Default printer and one that uses a VB6 library (if it is available on your PC/HMI) that opens a select and configure printer dialog. If the required VB6 library is not installed, the application will still be able to print to the Windows default printer.
Instead of a separate document to explain the project, it has been created to be self documenting. The screens explain how to use the example and the VBA code and Form are well commented describing how everything works.
The Project Backup is programmed in InteractX 4.1 and can be opened in 4.0 and run since the 4.0 and 4.1 apps are cross compatible. The differences in 4.0 and 4.1 are on the development side. The runtimes are the same.
Download the zip file and use the InteractX "Restore Project" feature to load it into your 4.x InteractX development PC.
