If the application is close enough to a default AC10 application, then yes
If the application can be customized using DSE Lite, then yes
The AC10 can be modified to work in the place of a 650.
In one instance a customer tried to duplicate the 650 application in an AC10 by the keypad
It was not successful because the AC10 terminology and parameters are not equal to the 650 terminology and parameters.
In this case, it was necessary to use DSE Lite to create a custom application
For this application, the customer wanted:
The motor to run at 75 Hz until it reached a limit switch, then slow down to 4 Hz
The motor to be reversible
DI1 = Run at 75 Hz
DI2 = Reverse
DI3 = Run at 4 Hz (Initiated by limit switch)
No analog inputs were used
