This bit activates when the velocity demand exceeds the limits set by the DMVLIM command. This applies to both Gemini servo and stepper products. While drive operation will continue even though this bit is set, for the GV / GV6 products, the drive will enter into “Override Mode”, where the maximum motor velocity cannot exceed the DMVLIM value until the bit is cleared. No such "override mode" exists in the Gemini stepper products.
Issuing a DCLRLR or RESET command in the Gemini, enabling the Reset input or cycling drive power will clear this bit. Check the DMVLIM value against the commanded velocities for the motor. Adjust the DMVLIM value if necessary.
