When configuring the Compax3 drives for a non-Parker servo motor, the MotorManager requires saturation specifications. The Beginning of Saturation and End of Saturation is the percentage of the rated current that dictates the saturation of the torque constant.
If this information is not known for the non-Parker servo motor, set this to 100% for the beginning and 400% for the end. You should test this setting after configurating the motor with the optimization screen and tuning the motor and drive. In only a few cases the current step response wouldn't be optimimum. If this isn't set correctly, it shouldn't damage the motor -- it would decrease the current loop bandwidth.
