Downloading Programs in a Daisy Chain

Print Friendly and PDF
When the 6000 products are in a daisy chain, you could run into problems if you try to download programs to these units. This is because the flow control does not work in the daisy chain. Therefore, if your progam exceeds the buffer limit of the product(400 Characters), some commands could get lost. Below are some recommendations to get this to work.

1. Download programs to each controller individually without the daisy chain.

2. Only download one program at a time instead of all your programs at once.

3. Use a terminal that you can add delays after each line of the program.
