VFO system vs the older CPU system.

Hi all.

Long time fan of your products all back to the era of Monsun-Tison in the 1970's, later on VOAC. The directional valves have dominated CTL logging equipment in Scandinavia since then.

Read this article and wonder if this VFO system is basically the same as the CPU system that was marketed by Monsu-Tison VOAC 30+ years ago? If so, is VFO just a new term for marketing the system in North America?

  1. Is the orifice at valve inlet approx 0.7 mm diameter?
  2. Can valve spools proportionally vary the the pump signal pressure in the open center gallery?
  3. Or does the open center gallery close just before workports connects the power gallery to the actuator?

Cheers
