What’s the difference between Parbak rubber backup rings and PTFE back-up rings?

Parbak rubber back-up brings can be stretched during installation and return to their original dimensions. In this regard, they are much easier to install than PTFE back-up brings, and do not contain a scarf cut edge that may damage an O-ring seal.
